Abstract |
Arcobacter nitrofigilis has been known to be a free-living, nitrogen-fixing microaerophilic bacteriu, Physicochemical culture conditions were optimized to enhance cell growth under air atmospheric oxygen concentrations(21% O_2). When brucella and brain heart infusion media were used, cell growth was maximum. The optimum pH and NaCl concentration for cell growth were 6 to 8 and 1.0 to 2.0%, respectively. When the cells were grown in brucella biphasic media with shaking, maximum cell growth could be obtained. |
